Custom Picture Framing & Canvas Stretching
Hand-selected mouldings and mats designed alongside the piece for canvases, prints, photographs, textiles, and the occasional impossible object. Canvas stretching done on-site.
Family-owned, woman-owned, and crafted on-site in North Dallas since 1983.

Custom framing and fine art is our only business, and has been since 1983 under the same family ownership. Every piece that crosses the bench is treated like a quiet act of stewardship: chosen mouldings, conservation-grade materials, and finishing touches sized to the room it will live in.
Six disciplines, one workshop. From a single archival framing to a 200-piece corporate install, every commission is designed in conversation and crafted on-site.

Hall mirrors, mantel mirrors, dressing mirrors. Sized to the wall, finished in mouldings that speak to the architecture of the room.

An owned, curated inventory, never on consignment. Take pieces home on approval before you commit.

UV-blocking, anti-reflective, archival mounting. The right call for heirlooms, signed works, and originals you intend to keep.

Diplomas, jerseys, medals, christening gowns, signed memorabilia, flags, and instruments — composed with care so the object is the story. Antique frame restoration and oil or acrylic painting cleaning also available.

Wall elevations for designers and framing programs for offices and hospitality. From sketch to last-piece-hung.
No appointment is required, but for designers, complex commissions, or working directly with Jessica or Kristine, calling ahead makes the experience easier.
Walk in, or schedule. The team receives your work, listens carefully, and asks the right questions about the room it is headed to.
Stop in or callMouldings, mats, and glazing options come to the table. You see real samples against your piece, never a flat screen guess.
In-person consultEvery cut, join, and mount happens in the North Dallas workshop, not shipped off to a faceless plant.

Pickup or installThe gallery inventory is theirs, chosen one piece at a time. Clients are welcome to take work home on approval to see how it lives in the room before committing.

Selecting art is a slow art. The Framesmith lets clients live with a piece in the intended room before deciding. If it is not right, the next option can be more tailored.
